I became involved with PFLAG-NYC in 2014 to get the support I needed to support my transgender son (now a happy college graduate, and employed in NYC :) ). I volunteered at GCE in 2016; took on the role of Volunteer Coordinator in 2017; and again now for GC*NYC in 2019. I am happy to give back in any way that I can, and I love working with this is an amazing community and conference team!
