Transgender and gender nonconforming youth have secured numerous legal victories in recent years, while being increasingly under attack by federal and local governments. TGNC youth must navigate many challenges on a daily basis, including attacks on their ability to access education and healthcare free from discrimination and obtain identity documents that accurately reflect who they are. This session will discuss notable federal court decisions, pending litigation, and the changing judicial landscape on rights for TGNC youth, as well as address future avenues for continued advocacy.
