An estimated 1.7% of the population is intersex, making being intersex about as common as being a twin. However, there is a lack of education on intersex traits as well as resources for intersex students. This session will provide an overview of intersex variations, the issues intersex young people face in and out of educational settings, and resources and tools to help support intersex students.
