D. M. Maynard, MS/MA, a veteran teacher with 30+ years’ experience and Founder/Director of Maynard’s W.I.S.D.O.M., Inc., an Education Service. She has spoken at conferences within the U.S. and throughout the world, supporting gender diversity for children and giving voice to the partners of those in transition. Her published articles are: Introducing Gender Equality in the Early Childhood Classroom (2012) and The Magic of a Creative and Engaging Classroom (2013). In 2018, D. M. Maynard presented at WPATH in Buenos Aires, Argentina based on the chapter she co-wrote with Olivia Fischer for the Psychotherapy Center for Gender and Sexuality’s upcoming book titled, Sex, Sexuality and Trans Identities: Clinical Guidance for Psychotherapists and Counselors, soon to be released with Jessica Kingsley Publishers (JKP) in September of 2019 and Maynard's her first book, The Reflective Workbook for Partners of Transgender People: Your Transition as Your Partner Transitions, is now available with JKP.
